Support Subject : iDisk
Sub Issue : Sharing files with your iDisk
Comments : Good morning, my iDisk has lost 600Mb of space. I've read and followed these instructions

but still it doesn't seem to work properly. Thanks a lot, Luca.
Dear Luca,
Your iDisk should report the expected size now.
Our records indicate that you are using 30 megabytes (MB) of the 874 MB alloted to your iDisk.
Please keep the following in mind to prevent this from happening:
Uploading files to your iDisk is actually a two-step process. In the first step, the Finder prepares a local cached copy of the file to be sent. In the second step, that file is actually transmitted across the internet to your iDisk. The first step is performed as quickly as your hard drive can copy the file, and accounts for the bulk of the work that the Finder believes it has to do to upload your file. This is why the progress dialog reaches the "5 seconds remaining" mark so quickly - the Finder considers its work nearly finished.
At this point, your upload may appear to stall, especially when sending a large file. However, you're really in step two of the process, and your file is actively being transmitted to your iDisk. In most cases, simply leave the progress dialog alone, and your file should eventually be transferred.
Sincerely,
Eddie
