Version 1.60:
Transfer prioritization
Option to specify if transfers are included in the global bandwidth limits
Random port, with optional randomization on startup
Groups (moved to preferences) can be auto-assigned to transfers when adding based on multiple criteria
Groups can have a default location when adding transfers

Concordo, Padmè. Grazie della segnalazione.
Ti sarai accorta che questi aggiornamenti sono di solito preceduti dalla release di una beta, e solo dopo che il collaudo ha avuto successo con piena soddisfazione degli utenti (vedi le Transmission User Reviews) John Clay aggiorna ufficialmente la sua creatura.

REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
Meglio precisare; prima era solo "strongly recommended".

Mah, dal sito ufficiale sembra ancora solo Strongly recommended.
Transmission-1.60.dmg
OS X 10.5 or later is strongly recommended.
OS X 10.4 users need 10.4.11 with Security Update 2008-002.

Direi che questa frase pone fine al dilemma:
"The final release for Mac OS X 10.4.11 was Transmission 1.52" che era la versione precedente alla 1.60.
1.60 da Leopard in su.
Sorry per chi ha Tiger o precedenti.
