Buongiorno! ho attivato il conto skypeout per le chiamate verso fissi e cellulari(poco fa con tanto di e-mail di conferma) ma non riesco ha chiamare nessuno! ogni volta che provo ha digitare il numero e poi chiamre mi dice questo: "Misc error #8401" cosa può essere?

ps vorrei ringraziare tutti gli utenti del forum per essermi stati vicini in questo momento, GRAZIE DI CUORE A TUTTI!

Ciao Ian,

mi sembra un problema di Skype, non certo di Mac...
Io uso questo servizio da un anno e mezzo senza particolari problemi.
Hai provato con il loro servizio clienti oppure, con il forum online?

Li di sicuro troverai qualche spiegazione...

Tra le altre cose ti ricordo che trovi il link direttamente dalla barra del menu di Skype anche per segnalare un malfunzionamento.

If you are experiencing Error #8401 or having trouble placing a call please read the steps below.

Error #8401 appears in Mac OS X version of Skype and is caused by an incorrect password check when attempting to place a SkypeOut call.

In order to fix this please download the newest Version of Skype for Mac OS X. It can be found here: http://www.skype.com/products/skype/macosx/

Next you need to refresh the Skype entry in your Keychain.

In Finder open a new Finder window (under File menu).
Then select Applications -> Utilities -> Keychain Access.

* Close Skype
* Delete the keychain entry named "Skype" from the access list
* Open Skype

In due parole: occorre aggiornare la tua versione di Skype e relativa entry nel portachiavi..

riesci ad essere più preciso su versione installata, e quando hai acquistato il credito?

Ti consiglio in ogni modo di installare l'ultima versione disponibile. Tieni presente che possono esserci ritardi nell'acredito del credito (un po come avviene a volte con le ricaricabili dei cellualri).

ciao nippi, ho l'ultima versione installata e il credito l'ho acquistato questa mattina ma è tutto in regola ho skypeout attivo

grazie gran maestro, ho l'ultima versione di skype ma nel portachiavi devo cancellare skype o devo fare altro?

devo cancellare il nome skype nella lista portachiavi vero avro?

Ian, ma ti piace sentirle ripetere le cose?


La risposta è Si! cancella la chiave e riavvia Skype che ti chiederà di registrare la password all'interno del portachiavi.
(Tra l'altro lo fa ad ogni aggiornamento, qualunque programma)
