Star Walk icona con numero bianco su sfondo rosso

Ciao tempo fa ho installato Star Walk su 3Gs funziona bene, solo che sulla sua icona sul lato destro vi è un numero che passando da 1....2 ora vi è un 8. Ho fatto gli aggiornameti da iTunes , ma questo 8 è rimasto sempre. Come si può toglire questo numero. Grazie

Quel numero indica qualcosa che avviene nel programma. Non conosco Starwalk nello specifico, ma per esempio tutti i programmi che supportano notifiche le evidenziano in quel modo (il telefono per le chiamate ricevute senza risposta, gli SMS, mail, gli aggiornamenti dell'Appstore).
Dunque devi capire come dare l'aggiornamento di "letto" o "visto" a questi eventi relativi a Starwalk.

Ciao è arrivato al N°12 poi è scomparsa la numerazione senza che io facessi nulla per cancellarlo meglio così. Probabilmente è un'applicazione che regola qualche cosa in automatico.

E comunque, bastava dare un'occhiata al manuale, ne riporto il pezzo rilevante:
"4.6 Using Astronomy Picture of the Day
Star Walk provides users with beautiful Astronomy Pictures of the Day. These pictures made by both amateur and experienced astronomers present various sky objects like comets, moon, nebulas, etc. After seeing a picture, you can read some information on it, visit an URL with it, or save the picture to your photo album.
Pictures change 3 times a week automatically. You will get push notifications whenever a new picture is added and see a badge with a number on Star Walk icon. To switch off the push notifications for the Astronomy Picture of the Day, go to General Settings of your iPhone, choose Notifications-> Star Walk-> Alerts-> OFF. To switch off badges, go to General Settings of your iPhone, choose Notifications-> Star Walk-> Badges-> OFF."
