Salve ho provato di nuovo a inizializzare il mio mac per fare una installazione pulita perché avevo diversi problemi su mio mac book pro 15 metà 2009. Ho fatto prima un inizializza e installato lion che avevo in dvd e poi scaricato mavericks.
Mi sembra che sia andato a buon fine però aprendo safari mi trovo le pagine preferite vecchie.. è per caso una funzione del cloud? lo chiedo perché la scorsa volta la reinstallazione non era andata a buoni fine e mi erano rimasti programmi vecchi ecc e ho dovuto rifare tutto da capo..
Ho fatto l'inizializzazione del disco che si trovava in basso con nome mackintosh hd non quello sopra con il nome del modello dell'hard disk. La prima volta mi ha detto impossibile disattivare disco così ho inserito il dvd e l'ho fatto a mackintosh hd.
Dite che devo reinstallare da capo?

bho continua ancora per un po... e normale un log così lungo? vedo trova diversi errori, secondo voi devo re-installare? come faccio a farlo in modo definitivo?
non capisco perché non riesco a fare una installazione pulita...

un log è un log e sono normalmente lunghi. non ha nulla di particolare quel log. se il mac va bene è un inutile esercizio andarselo a leggere. non è che un'installazione pulita produce un log privo di errori o presunti tali.

ora per reinstallare mavericks con inizializzazione, ammesso serva, basta fare una ricerca nel forum e trovare il semplice documento apple postato più volte: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14243?vie ... cale=it_IT

il disco di avvio da inizializzare, come da documento apple, è Macintosh HD. più correttamente andrebbe chiamato volume di avvio.

molto pratico è crearsi una chiavetta usb di avvio, dopo essersi riscaricato il dmg del sistema. in questo modo, volendo, è possibile inizializzare il disco (e non solo il volume di avvio) senza scaricare nulla da capo, ma non è quasi mai necessario. lo diventa solo quando lo schema delle partizioni è danneggiato. per capirlo c'è utility disco e il veriifica disco.

infine, per il funzionamento di icloud c'è l'aiuto mac dove leggi che non solo i preferiti di safari si trasferiscono tra mac e dispositivi ma anche le pass del portachiavi, i calendari, i contatti, ecc.
