E-MAIL scomparse da Mail
Ho un problema, magari fosse uno solo, ma come dicevo nella mia presentazione al forum mi accade una strana cosa. Mi auguro che qualcuno di voi possa darmi un suggerimento idoneo a risolverlo e vi ringrazio fin da adesso. Ho pagato 99 €uro per iscrivermi a .mac ed oltre ad alcuni servizi ti offrono anche una mail.mac diventata adesso .me. Tutte le e-mail che mi arrivano a questa casella di posta .mac riesco a leggerle ma il giorno dopo non ci sono più!!!! Cosa posso fare? Grazie

Io mi collego tramite Alice ADSL e ho la casella di posta su Libero, la principale quindi. Su quale server devo andare a vedere? Non sono molto pratico come è facile intuire, mi farebbe piacere conoscere passo passo cosa devo fare sia per andare sul server di Alice si sul server di Apple. Grazie di nuovo

scusa ma.... di che account parli. mobile me? libero? o alice? la web mail si raggiunge digitando in safari o in firefox i domini dei provider: alice.it/ libero.it/ e me.com/
aggiungo che non puoi scaricare la posta di un account libero (free) con una connessione alice senza software aggiuntivo. rimaniamo però sulla posta scomparsa dell'account mobileme descritta nel post iniziale. grazie.

Io mi collego con Alice, ho una casella Mail a pagamento con Libero ed ho una mail a pagamento con .Mac.
La posta in oggetto che sparisce è solo quella che mi arriva alla mia posta: perinigiorgio@mac.com. Dopo un giorno sparisce da dentro la casella Mac. Ho scritto anche al support Mac mi hanno risposto in inglese con molti termini tecnici di cui non so la traduzione. Ho impostato la casella Mai di .Mac per non cancellare la posta, perchè sparisce lo stesso??? Grazie

Non saprei come si ricostruisce una casella di posta su Mac e non so nemmeno come si fa an andare sul server della Apple, cioè nella mia casella. Mi dispiace ma se mi dici come io eseguo. Ecco il testo della risposta:

I am sorry to hear that you believe you are missing some email messages from your MobileMe email account.
If you don't see those messages in your Inbox, they may have been downloaded by one of your email programs and deleted from the servers. - Configure all of your computers and other devices that check email to use the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP). IMAP by default leaves copies of all messages on the server as it downloads them to your email program. In Mac OS X Mail, the "MobileMe" account type is automatically configured as IMAP.
- If you would like to keep using POP3, always use only one email program or device to access your MobileMe email.
- If you would like to keep using POP3, and if you want to use more than one email program or device to access your MobileMe email, be sure to edit each of the program's account settings to enable the option to leave a copy of all messages on the server. sostanzialmente dice che tutti gli account sui computer con cui scarichi la posta devono essere impostati (giustamente) come imap. fallo quindi anche su outlook. aggiunge e termina dicendo di muovere i messaggi verso la cartella on my mac solo in certo modo, pena l'eliminazione sul server.

IMAP ma non so nemmeno cos'è. Ma come io ho pagato un servizio proprio perchè credevo fosse semplice, visto che non sono esperto e poi scopro che devo fare duemila settaggi?? E' incredibile!!! Mi sono complicato tutto quindi!!! Della serie mi ci hanno beccato una volta....prima e ultima. Peccato che mi scade a settembre prossimo e non posso nemmeno usare nemmeno la mail!!! Dovrò prendermene un'altra a pagamento quindi.
Visto che faccio il giornalista avevo piacere di avere una casella di posta per inviare foto e ricevere foto di grandi dimensioni e visto ancora che faccio anche il fotografo. Ma tu guarda un pò che razza di problema. Mi auguro che qualcuno dei Signori della Apple provvederà a risolverlo.

A me pare tu stia esagerando, si tratta di impostazioni e settaggi che richiedono un minimo di attenzione e che sono alla portata di tutti. I signori della Apple, scusami, non c'entrano davvero niente.
