Quick Look Server

Ciao a tutti, spesso, la temperatura del mio processore sale senza nessuna apparente motivazione e l'utilizzo della cpu ha un incremento improvviso che si avvicina al 100%.
In monitoraggio attività noto, che quando si verifica questa cosa, appare "quck look server" che ciuccia oltre il 100% del processo della cpu.
Cosa è questa applicazione che appare e sparisce a suo piacimento e perchè sfrutta una percentuale così alta del processore?

quick look server è un processo di leopard relativo proprio alla funzione quick look, in pratica è deputato alla creazione dell'anteprima veloce del file. cmq problema abbastanza noto quando si usa transmission. è cosi?

Ho diverse applicazioni aperte tra cui anche trasmission..
Credo tu abbia ragione, ma non capisco cosa accada...

It is not clear whether the cause is, as one user suggests, that the Quick Look Server is "trying to index the bittorrent files while they are downloading". It isn't entirely obvious what Quick Look Server would be "indexing"; is it hunting for "generators"? Or is it rather, perhaps, Transmission itself that interacts incorrectly with Quick Look? In any case, readers might want to be wary of Transmission until these issues are ironed out; whatever's going on, this behavior can't be right, and Transmission seems to be responsible for it.
